Live Animal Guarantee
Shipping charges are not included in the price of the gecko unless noted. We ship overnight air through Fedex. Shipping is a flat $50 fee.. We can only ship our Crested geckos when the weather is safe to do so between 38 and 85 degrees Fahrenheit. Don't worry we will care for your gecko until it is safe to ship. We guarantee that all animals will arrive alive and guarantee health for 48 hours. Please make sure to keep the gecko away from your other animals in quarantine. Also be sure the weather conditions are correct in your area before scheduling the shipment with us.
We will never knowingly ship an animal that is sick and unhealthy. If your gecko should arrive dead please contact us within 1 hour of receiving it. All health guarantees are void if we are not contacting during this time frame. Someone must also be there to sign for the gecko, this is very important. We will not be responsible if the package was not signed for on the first delivery attempt. We may require either a picture or we may request that the gecko be shipped back to us if it arrives dead. If an animal arrives dead we will replace it with one of equal value or give credit towards another gecko no refunds will be given. If we do not hear from you we will assume your gecko arrived safe and healthy.
Shipping can be stressful for the geckos and tail loss is a possibility. We can not guarantee that geckos will not drop their tails during shipping. Even though crested gecko tails do not grow back the loss of a tail does not affect it and they do fine without one. No refunds will be given for tail loss during shipping.
We currently do not ship internationally. You are welcomed to arrange international shipping on your end however there will be no live animal guarantees on international shipping.
30 Day hold Payment Plan
We would be happy to hold a gecko for you for up to 30 days. We require a non-refundable deposit of 25% of the final sales price to place an animal on hold. We will hold your gecko for 30 days unless prior agreement has been made for a longer hold time. Once we receive your deposit we will send you an email letting you know. The official 30 day hold starts on the day you make your initial deposit. You may make payments anytime within the 30 days but All holds must be paid in full by 11:59 cst on the 30th day or the animal will be relisted for sale and the 25% deposit will be kept by Heartland Crested Geckos, Any other money (minus the 25% deposit) sent towards the purchase price will be awarded as store credit that may be used towards the purchase price of another gecko. Absolutely NO cash refunds will be given.
In the unfortunate event that the "on hold" gecko becomes ill or otherwise unavailable for a new home the buyer will be notified and we will refund 100% of all money that has been sent in towards its purchase price including the 25% deposit.
If a gecko is listed as probable male it means we have louped them and some pores were visible. If it is a probable female it means no pores have been seen yet. We do NOT guarantee sex on probable males or females because loupe sexing is not always 100% accurate. We take our best guess but sometimes males can develop late pores so until a visible bulge is seen we do not guarantee sex!
Unsexed geckos means that it is still too small for us to accurately determine the sex.
We do not re-sex animals after they have been placed on hold for payment plans or weather holds. If you purchase a "probable" sexed animal it will not be re-checked for any reason before shipping.
We do our best to take pictures that accurately represent the gecko for sale. We do not adjust the color of images using photo shop or any other image editing software. The only adjustments that may be made are cropping or resizing to fit on the website. Color can still vary slightly depending on the computer monitor you are using , to get an accurate representation of the color of a gecko try looking at the picture with 2 different monitors. If you need additional pictures of a gecko for sale please let us know and we will do our best to accommodate you.
